When you are fishing from the beach or rocks, you may need a rod rest. Graeme shows you how to save a bit of money and make your own fishing rod rest on the cheap. The first rod rest he makes is more of a rod holder for surf/beach fishing. The second one is a tripod type beach rest that is more suited to rock fishing but can be used to equal affect when beach fishing.
