On April 28, 2023, the Yale Center for Environmental Communication hosted a panel discussion on social media, influencers, and climate justice communication. We explored the ways in which leading eco-influencers are harnessing online platforms for education and social change around environmental, climate, and justice issues. Cynthia Norrie, Deputy Digital Director for the Yale Program on Climate Change Communication, moderated a conversation with Kristy Drutman of Browngirl Green and Green Jobs Board, Isaias Hernandez of QueerBrownVegan, and Sophia Kianni of Climate Cardinals.
