This Guinea fowl recipe is a Guinea fowl stew slow cooked so the meat is tender and juicy.
A humba recipe is a Bisaya sweet stew using sprite or 7 up within the recipe. As Humba is a sweet stew it works well with any game meats and makes for a perfect Guinea Fowl recipe.
Humba is known also as a sweet version of the traditional adobo.
Guinea Fowl is a lovely bird to cook and taste similar to a free-range turkey.
This is a slow cooked whole Guinea Fowl recipe, cooking for an hour so the meat is tender, juicy and delicious.
Here are the ingredients for my Guinea Fowl recipe ( Guinea Fowl Stew):
1 kilo whole Guinea fowl
2 bay leaves
6 cloves of garlic, peeled & chopped
1 large onion, sliced thinly
1/4 cup dark soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
200 ml of 7up or sprite
pinch of ground black pepper
