Nostalgia is the word of the day (especially on a cold rainy day). Dill pickles are a staple in any refrigerator in many Polish households. If fact, dill pickles are found in many refrigerators of those who are not Polish too. However, the love dill pickles just don’t stop coming from a jar.
On a cool wet November day, a soup can make all the difference. To make it that much better, when you integrate dill pickles into a warm soup…you hit the mark and end up making a belly warming experience. As a child, I remember this from the old-timers kitchens. As an adult, I have found it on just about every Polish food restaurant menu.
Today in Mike Oski’s Kitchen we are making an nostalgic: Creamy Polish Dill Pickle Soup
This is perfect to go along side grilled cheese or served as a side along any main dish. It can also be served as an appetizer before the main meal. This soup includes carrots, potatoes, a blend of spices, a creamy texture, and of course, dill pickles. I takes simple ingredients and a simple process to put his one together.
Make this one! You will love it and your crew will think you are a star! I am right here to help you put this one down on the table.
