This is another video of the Yoga series and today we are doing the Child's pose or Balasana (Sanskrit name). This pose is also known as Shishuasana. This pose stretches lower back, hips, knees, thighs and ankles. This pose relaxes spine, shoulders and neck while relieving tension, stress and fatigue. This pose increases blood circulation towards head relieving headache. This pose improves concentration and calms central nervous system and mind. Last but not the least, this pose gives you glowing skin. Very simple to do this pose can be done anywhere, anytime as per your convenience for 45 seconds to 5 minutes.
