This sweet recipe can be made very quickly and is enjoyed by everyone. In this rice payasam we have to make sure that the rice is not ground too finely. It should remain as pieces and only then they would retain some texture when serving this sweet dish. You can make this recipe in pressure cooker or in a open pot method. In pressure cooker method we cook the mixture for 20-25 minutes at medium heat. ( Do not count the whistles). It would take much longer when cooking in an open pot.
