The Exstasy is a long poem by John Donne. This deals with one of the major themes of Donne's poetry i.e. physical and platonic love. The poem is complicated one because of its consistent shif in focus and the ambiguity not in text but in poets mind too. In this lecture we will deal with this poem in detail.
