Kim Skhashok from Russia, region of North Caucasus. But it seems that no one told our hero that with leaving of age, strength leaves a person. Running 100 km in 9 hours and 45 minutes is not a problem for him, which he did a couple of years ago. And last year he competed in freestyle wrestling among veterans and immediately took 2nd place in the Russian championship. What about a record of 77 pull-ups in one set. At the same time, he has an impressive shape and muscle mass. What is the secret of his athletic longevity. What is his nutrition plan? How does he train? And what strength records does he have with weights and on horizontal bars, which, by the way, are very phenomenal for his age? You will know all of this today.
Horizontal bars, dips, running - became Kim's close friends for these 2 years in the army. All these types of loads were part of the necessary military trainings.
Kim's habit of running remained after the Army, and later allowed him to complete this incredible run of 100 km at a time, in less than 10 hours.
But behind this 100 km race lies 4 years of hard workouts and 3 unsuccessful attempts. Kim also regularly runs marathons and half marathons. In general, Kim trains in a variety of ways. Always trying something new and surprising his body every time.
In addition to running, as I said earlier in the video, Kim has serious strength results, in exercises with weights, on horizontal bars and dips.
For example, he does 60 - 65 pull-ups per set after workout in freestyle wrestling. Yes, with cheating, but 65 pull-ups at his age is a phenomenal result. Or 55 pull-ups with a 10 kg vest, or 35 pull-ups with an additional 26 kg weight. But a personal record with only bodyweight of 70 pull-ups. As Kim said, pull-ups are his favorite exercise.
Kim also has kettlebell records. For example, holding a 32 kg kettlebell is on 51 seconds, and he holds a 16 kg kettlebell with one hand for 58 seconds. Or 32 kg kettlebell swings for 38 repetitions in 1 one minute.
Of course, Kim does not forget about the exercises in the gym, where he trains a lot of time. Kim's record in barbell squats is 180 kg for 6 repetitions. Bench press is 130 kg, and deadlift with a weight of 200 kg.
And on his Instagram, Kim said that in the army he could do 106 pullovers in one set. And he modestly says that now can do at least 60 - 70.
Kim has a lot of sporting achievements. And at the same time, he has excellent health and continues to do the 360 degree swings exercise and muscle ups on the bar.
