We are always learning and while getting a Lake Guntersville fishing report from @AlabamaBassGuide I learned something I never know about a chatterbait and how it works underwater. We all use different chatterbait trailers when fishing for bass especially in spring depending on if you're fishing clear water all the way down to super muddy water. What I didn't know is how the size of your soft plastic trailer - like a swimbait or creature bait - affects the action of the lure and how erratic the chatterbait moves when retrieving it.
