A quick video answer to a question in the comments on how I control the camera while recording myself. The answer is using the Elgato Stream Deck via USB.
I program it to change scenes, play sounds and even start and stop recording of the videos.
This is also great for capturing a snippet of video when recording audio podcasts so as to provide some visual promotional content on Facebook and Instagram.
