Echuca resident Kerry Williams says the town has been “putting everything” into holding back floodwaters, with more flooding along the Murray River set to occur from today.

“I’m pretty worried for the town,” she told Sky News Australia.

“Our house hopefully will survive, but we are kind of built on the levee.

“But the houses next to us, there’s a block of flats, they are two foot lower than us – a lot of Echuca a lot lower than us.”
