The 2024 Genesis G70 is one of the very few models that's keeping the mid-size car alive. Of course, SUVs are instead all the craze – and not just among families – with buyers flocking to them for their high driving positions, wagon-like practicality and perceived superior crash safety.
So, where does that leave the G70 and its key rivals, including the BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class? Well, the traditional family car is on the outer, but that doesn't mean that Genesis isn't doing anything to keep it fresh, as evidenced by this facelift, which has just entered Australian showrooms.
In this expert review, CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Emily Agar and her family of three spend a week living the facelifted G70's flagship, the 3.3T Sport Luxury sedan, to find out how well its retuned suspension, new touchscreen climate controls and improved cruise control perform, among its other upgrades.
