We visit the USS Hornet to see what its like aboard a US Navy Aircraft Carrier. We explore the flight deck, control tower, navigation room, pilot room, and more! My intent is for you to get a better understanding of the realities on the ground when it comes to engagements like the battle of Midway. I hope this gives you proper historical grounding as you watch the action depicted in the Midway movie.

I will note that this particular carrier is the USS Hornet CV-12 which was a carrier during the second world war but is different than the USS Hornet CV-8 which took part in the Doolittle Raid and the Battle of Midway.
