Love the crispy taste of this oil-free fo this fried chicken with the Emeril Lagasse AirFyrer Pro. Marinated 30 minutes in buttermilk before air frying to get the most out of this juiciest of chicken. Mix the spices together with cereal to make a coating of a crispy flake on the chicken. Cook on the crisper trays at 370°F for 40 minutes and prepare for an oil-free super crispy treat.

Fried Chicken Recipe
Serves 6
Ingredients:
5 chicken legs
4 chicken thighs
5 chicken wings
3 cups buttermilk
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper
1 tbsp. onion powder
1 tbsp. garlic powder
1 tbsp. paprika
6 cups flaked corn cereal, crushed
Directions:
1. Marinate the chicken in the buttermilk for at least 30 mins. in the refrigerator
(preferably overnight).
2. Mix the salt, black pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and cereal
together in a bowl.
3. Roll the chicken in the cereal and spice mixture to coat well.
4. Place the chicken onto the Crisper Trays.
5. Place the Trays in the AirFryer Pro. Press the Power Button and then the
Chicken Button (370° F/188° C) and increase the cooking time to 40 mins. to
begin the cooking cycle.
6. Use a meat thermometer to measure the temperature of the chicken. The
chicken is done when the internal temperature reaches 165° F/75° C.
Additional cooking time might be required to reach this temperature.
