The Teal independents demanding no new gas and coal mines are using the “typical pie in the sky” type of argument for combatting climate change, says Sky News Senior Reporter Caroline Marcus.
“Quite frankly it seems the case in NSW, here in NSW we assume at the election that we’re going to be a stringent minority government,” she told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
“We’re going to be relying on some of those independent voices that you just played, who are going to have a similar argument about stopping baseload power – gas and coal mining projects from getting off the ground at all.”
