On June 16th, 2023 I undertook an epic journey in the Grand Canyon. I began on the south rim, took the Bright Angel trail to the North Kaibab trail to the north rim, then turned around and did it all over again. My watch died with about a half mile to go but in total, the journey was almost 49 miles, took just under 11 hours, and had over 14,000ft of gain. It was very hard. I reached the upper end of my capabilities. I came out the other side stronger and with an amazing story. I linked the strava below. I hope you enjoy my trek from rim to rim and back again!
