In this tutorial I'll show how to paint a photo realistic German Shepherd in acrylics. When painting highly detailed fur in acrylics there are a few key things to consider. The way we layer, the way we use the brushes and build contrast should all come together to create maximum depth and achieve that extra level of realism. Capturing the three dimensional look of the animal is always my goal and I hope these tips help to bring more realism to your paintings =).
