In the next few videos, I pull some quotes from Viktor Frankl's classic book, "Man's Search for Meaning" and use them to help you overcome your adversity.
"Everything can be taken from a man, but one thing, the last of human freedoms, to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one's own way."
This is where it starts. There is an option to be defeated by your adversity. You don't have to learn. You don't have to grow. That is a choice. The easy and understandable thing to do is nothing, which will likely lead to far worse results in the future.
But in the moment, it is the easier thing to do.
𝗔𝗻 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗮𝗻 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗱𝗼 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘆. And this won't happen by accident.
Now let me add and clarify that if you are doing this growth to feel better, it likely won't work. We can't back into it that way. The growth hurts, and this is important. Adversity remains adverse and uncomfortable.
