Africa has produced and continues to produce many excellent goalkeepers. We are embarking on a project to come out with a compilation of the greatest African football players ever by position. The first of this series starts with the goalkeeping division. We have compiled a list of the five African greatest goalkeepers of all time by ranking. The number one on the list makes it into our team. We also have some honourable mentions along the way. These goalkeepers really contributed their quota to not only African football but also to world football. Their talent and leadership in the goal post make them stuffs of legends. There is a lot of information gaps on our legends in the internet space. We want to help contribute to bringing them to the light of the African community and the world.
