As we move into the inaugural season of the eSkootr Championship (eSC), we wanted to show you a little behind the scenes footage of how we've been putting test riders and the S1-X eSkootr through their paces in preparation.
Our specially designed electric scooter can reach speeds of more than 100km/h with a lean angle of 55 degrees, using twin 6kw motors and a battery capacity of 1.33KWH.
Our racing will be in city centre locations for our first ever season but while we have been testing given the logistics of closing down public streets, we had to use permanent circuits in Cremona and Adria in Italy, as well as the karting track at the famous Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, France.
Through them all we learnt valuable information on rider performance to help us to select our final roster of riders. We were able to develop the capability and safety of the eSkootr, as well as our racing format which we will soon take around the world to a city near you...
