Other disruptors or neo-banks in America and Europe are e.g. Nubank, SoFi, Revolut, Monzo, Starling Bank, Discover Bank, N26, Current, Moven, Axos Bank, Varo Bank, Ally Bank, Capital One, Trade Republic, Venmo, One Finance, Aspiration Financial, Dave, Cash App, MoneyLion, Robinhood Markets or Quontic. The neo-banks emerge worldwide, e.g. in India: Fi Money, Jupiter, FamPay, Mahila Money, RazorpayX, Digibank, NiYo, Open or SaveIn. In China we find e.g. MYBank, Neat or WeBank. In Asia we also find Timo in Vietnam or Jibun Bank in Japan or Jenius in Indonesia or K Bank and Kakao Bank bothe in Korea. In Africa the leading platform is MPesa. Other examples would be for South Africa: Discovery Bank, Bank Zero and Bettr Finance or Kuda in Nigeria or Eversend and Chipper Cash in Uganda.

Second, Revolut offers different services for businesses and individual customers which include for example a fee free currency exchange. Third, Revolut attracts a wide range of people with its various offers. And fourth, Revolut’s business model comes with certain chances in the foreign exchange business but also faces the risk of new financial market regulations.
