This history lecture took place on January 27, 2014 at McMenamins Kennedy School Restaurant/Hotel in Portland, Oregon as part of an ongoing series of Oregon History presentations known as "History Pub". The opening presenter is Eliza Canty Jones, Public Outreach Manager of the Oregon Historical Society. The lecturer is Steve McQuiddy, author of Here On The Edge: How a Small Group of World War II Conscientious Objectors Took Art and Peace from the Margins to the Mainstream. Steve McQuiddy is a journalist, an Honorary Director of the Oregon Cultural Heritage Commission, writing teacher at Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon, and member of the Board of Directors of the Lane County Historical Society.
