Norsk Stein / quarry Jelsa in Norway is the first one in the worldwide aggregate business to implement a full automated system for particle size distribution according to EN 933-1.
This is a co-development project between Norsk Stein and Scott Technology-Rocklabs to build modules specific for aggregate analysis up to 32 mm grain size. The system is a full automatic robotic one for sample preparation and testing and contains a splitting, washing, drying and sieving station as well as a visual inspection one for checking the sieves.
