The golden bird was robbed of everything it was known for, right from its natural resources to the temples of knowledge. But one of the grave chapters of India under the British Raj that the world has forgotten about is the artificial famine caused by the imperialists. The year 1943 saw Bengal famine - one of the wicked moves of British authorities against the commoners of India.
In this chapter we will have a look at what exactly happened in the year 1943 that led to disastrous deaths which are till date considered somewhat equivalent to the Jewish Holocaust.
