My attempt at painting the VP drive system. There was corrosion that needed addressing, so was a fun project to improve the appearance.

Would suggest wet sanding after the primer, as the primer went on a bit clumpy.

You can also opt to clear over the VP paint, but I chose not to since the sheen of the new and old paint matched up well. Online info suggests clear coating is optional.

Check the weather forecast before starting and saving up on Amazon paper to protect the gelcoat.
