The close season on our rivers has started but we still want to go perch fishing with lures! Not all is lost - we can still go Perch fishing on Canals and Lakes. In this video you join me on a day out where we're on the hunt for a big close season Perch.

We start on the canal using a range of tactics including small Cranks, Ned Rigs and the Dropshot. We're in and out the car checking out new spots which also includes a small pond and, in contrast, a massive lake. Lots of miles and lots of effort and all in the pursuit of adventure and big, big Perch!

I hope this will interest you if you're still fishing for Perch on lakes or canals. I definitely intend to do more of this in the coming weeks.
