A time-lapse of an entire day's activity of adding sand as a base layer for the new Fratton Park pitch.
The next phase of preparing the new playing surface will be to finalise laying the sand, before topsoil and seeding.
It is hoped that the entire process will be completed by Friday, 12th June, ready for the impending rain.
No time has been wasted in Pompey's close-season, with the pitch protected for the Madness gig before work commenced a day after the stage had been removed.
