Never in his wildest dreams did Paul Basagoitia expect to star in another mountain biking movie again. But the thing with Basagoitia is that he’s got quite a knack for making the impossible happen. When he sustained a spinal cord injury at 2015 Red Bull Rampage and was told he’d likely never walk again, well, Basagoitia didn’t listen. Instead, he got to work putting one foot in front of the other.
