For over 10 years, I have had the honour and joy of teaching pole dancing. It has been an incredible journey.
My life consisted of glitter, pole spins, inverts and heels.
I didn't know I was going to head down this path - when I was in my 20's and early 30's I was an Early Childhood Educator.
While I was on a leave of absence, I started to take pole dancing lessons and my path to exploring how to be feel confident, sexy and confident began.
This is the story about a student who taught me the biggest lesson.
Pole has taught me to love myself for how I am right now.
