Today is the start of Crohn's & Colitis Awareness Week. To help spread awareness, I’ve decided to share my story over the next several days. Day 1 is all about my diagnosis and symptoms of the disease.
Millions of Americans live with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, and even more family members, friends, coworkers, and others are impacted by these incurable diseases. While many individuals have heard of Crohn's and colitis, many do not fully understand these diseases (collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease or IBD). That’s why I’m sharing what I want others to know about IBD.
