This Past Simple ESL game is great to learn about Irregular verbs like: was, were, had, went, took, got and more. There are 10 verbs.
Firstly, you will see a video clip and a sentence with the verb in the present tense.
Secondly, you will see a video clip with a sentence in the past tense. This sentence will have a blank where the verb should be and there are 3 choices. *We recommend pausing the video here to give students a chance to guess if they haven't done so already.
