Amazon CodeCatalyst is an integrated dev ops service that provides you with all the tools your team needs from idea to production in one seamless experience.
Hi Guys, this is Abi from GokceDB and in this video you are going to learn 6 things about CodeCatalyst in AWS. Let's get into it.
1. CodeCatalyst allows you to manage all of the stages of your application lifecycle in one tool. This helps you plan work, collaborate code, and build, test, and deploy applications with CI/CD pipelines in one place.
2. To get started, you first have to create an AWS Builder ID credential to sign in to CodeCatalyst. Next, you create a space to represent your company, department, or group, and then you create projects that contain the resources needed to support your development teams and tasks.
3. To help teams get started quickly, CodeCatalyst provides language- or tool-based project blueprints. When you create a project from a project blueprint, it comes with resources such as a source repository with sample code, build scripts, deployment actions, virtual servers or serverless resources, and more.
4. CodeCatalyst helps you collaborate with your team using built-in features such as issue tracking. Apart from creating and assigning issues, you can use priorities, estimates, labels, and custom fields to help your team prioritize what’s next.
5. You get built-in support for code coverage, software composition analysis, and unit tests. You can also view your test results at a glance with automated visual test reporting.
6. CodeCatalyst makes it easy to deploy your application to AWS services such as AWS Lambda or Amazon ECS. You can deploy application stacks across accounts or AWS Regions by simply listing them as targets in your pipeline
There you have it.
