In the 3rd Episode of Season 3, I spend nearly five months in the Virgin Islands after single handing my 36' sailboat, I rebuilt from a gutted bare hull, from NC to the Virgin Islands via the off-shore route in Dec 2018. From Feb 2019 to the end of April 2019 I was joined by my wife Gayle.
In this video I describe some of my daily routines living on the boat, such as hauling water and catching rainwater, free diving, local sailing, etc. I also share pictures and stories depicting life aboard as a couple. Finally, after Gayle returned home I share film of sailing including tacking the boat. I also share film of free diving and exploring some of the reefs in the Virgin Islands. I also share some film of collecting rain water to fill the water tanks aboard the Far Reach. Finally, I describe how I improved my celestial navigation skills.
