Here's how I type at 180 WPM (with proof), and how you can as well! Do not use typing websites like Monkeytype, use TypeRacer. You'll be racing with a large community and typing actual passages with grammar, punctuation, symbols, etc. You know, as you do in real life! Don't chase numbers by doing typing tests that consist of just random words. Just do TypeRacer races 10-20 times a day and I promise you'll type noticeably faster in no time. Remember, do not look down at your keyboard, you will never be fast that way! By the way, I noticed a nice mechanical keyboard helps as well. The moment I finished building my GMMK PRO with lubed Gateron Black Ink V2, I started typing faster. You may need to wait a little longer for results depending on your finger speed before starting. I was an accomplished pianist, so it made it easier to type fast.
