Although Australia’s international borders reopened to tourists today, the Victorian Tourism Industry Council’s Felicia Mariani believes recovery for the beleaguered sector will take years.

“Recovery is going to be two to three years, if not longer,” Ms Mariani said.

“It probably is going to be three, four, five years before we really start to see figures to what we had pre-pandemic.”
