Description about my Intention:
The Amv displays particularly the fight, between Ichigo and Aizen.
Throughout the Amv, I placed, especially in the beginning, many flashbacks, and or little details, which by viewing closely give the general mood of the loss as stated in the song "Dreaming of the way it used to be".
As the fight between Aizen and the others causes many casualties and bonds to break/ severly getting damaged ( Hitsu-Momo, Gin-Matsu, Hyori-Shinji etc.) the biggest loss of all is for Ichigo to take.
As Aizen changes into a "higher state of being" he surpasses everyone.
As opposed to most mainstream Animes in which the Hero wins through the help of others, and or by other factors.
Ichigo wins the fight by going through the greatest loss.
He will lose his Shinigami powers, he will lose any kind of spiritual connection, he wont ever see any Shinigami, nor Hollow, thus he cannot protect anyone anymore. The only thing he always cared for.
The song was chosen, as it reflects (imo), the thoughts of Ichigo, even if surely the song is about god and or the love.
Though throughout the whole conflict Ichigo gets dragged into a really depressed state, the whole fight has a very weird atmosphere, that even if Ichigo wins, he has lost.
In the Amv you can find several Easter-Eggs, surely only if you are willing to watch xD
