This is the beginning of a series of rides of me going against past Randy on his road bike. Past Randy was much leaner, scarier, and fitter so it's going to be a challenge!
On a serious note.. Here's a fun little comparison against the bike that made me love cycling, my Cannondale Caad8 vs my Crew District Track bike. I did this somewhat hilly route on my Cannondale last year with a good effort but I feel like it's time to challenge myself more on my fixie, so why not try and match/beat the road bike time? It's a pretty challenging route with some steep climbs and fast descents. I've always avoided categorized climbs on a fixed gear for some reason (uhh the reason being that it sounds hard af) until recently, but lately I've been feeling pretty confident on my fixed gear climbing abilities.
