I struggle with brain fog a lot and to an extent anxiety and depression get the best of me sometimes too. When I would get brain fog, depression or anxiety in the past I would often beat myself up for it.
I would ask why I had to be so stupid to get anxiety or why couldn't I just push through the brain fog and get something done.
Then it was like a switch flipped, stop beating yourself up over this. When you catch yourself in the moments of anxiety, depression or brain fog then realize you are there and take steps to get out of it but do not beat yourself up.
It is really a silly thing to do.

When you get caught up in the moment of one of these brain struggles then take a deep breath, pause and give yourself permission. This does not mean to stay there or enjoy it. It means to not beat yourself up over it and then make progress to get out of there and change your behavior.
I know brain fog can take away all your productivity. I know depression will make you regret your wasted time and I know anxiety can destroy relationships. I have experienced all of these.
But let's take time to acknowledge it and correct it.
