World-famous Ukrainian conductor Kirill Karabits found the score of a cello concerto by Theodore Akimenko (Ukrainian, Fedir Yakymenko) in the National Library in Paris. Yakymenko was a major composer, but his composition had never been performed before. So Karabits thought, "Well, somebody has to do something about that. Why not me?" So how did the audience take it?
