Cerezo Osaka held on for a 2-1 victory over local rivals Gamba Osaka at the Panasonic Stadium Suita. Goals from Hiroaki Okuno and Yusuke Maruhashi either side of half-time were enough to win the Osaka derby for Cerezo, despite Ademilson scoring a 68th minute penalty for Gamba.
