Learn how to do a Single-Leg Romanian Deadlift, Curl to Overhead Press. There’s a lot going on with this exercise! It’s a great full body strength exercise for clients needing stabilization work.
Engage the core and gluteals, and lift one foot slightly off the ground. Hinge at the hip as you extend the arms down toward the balancing foot. Engage the gluteals to slowly stand upright, then curl the dumbbells and press directly overhead. Stabilize the body, return to starting position and repeat for desired number of reps. Maintain control and kinetic chain alignment throughout. Can be progressed to a single dumbbell in the hand opposite the balancing foot.
