A short video of how to install the Y ball nut on the Roton CNC kit for the G0704 mill.
A update to anyone watching this video for the current G0704 C7 double nut ball screws.
To install the double nut ballscrews it is easier to enlarge the hole in the front of the casting and then feed the screw in. You need to remove the motor mount by un screwing the coupler. The AC bearing go with the thick inner race facing out. Don't remove the double nuts, they are fairly hard to keep the balls in.
If Don't want to enlarge the hole and choose to remove the double nuts you will need two ball saver tubes of about .535". Remove the Philips screws that holds the nut lock bars and pry out the connector bars and remove the shims. Un screw each nut onto the ball savers install the screw and then re install the nuts.
