Sky news host Rowan Dean says former prime minister Malcolm Turnbull's decision to run "around the world” and criticise Australia’s climate policies is “shameful”.
Mr Turnbull has criticised the government for its apparent lack of policy action regarding climate change, suggesting the bushfires are a result of man-made climate change despite not taking this stance while he was prime minister.
“You can't attribute any particular event, whether it's a flood or fire or a drought or a storm, to climate change,” Mr Turnbull said in 2018.
Mr Dean told Sky News host Peta Credlin the former prime minister is “either lying then or lying now, or being deceptive then or deceptive now”.
“When are the Liberal Party going to boot this character out, he’s just laughing in their faces now,” Mr Dean said.
