Next up in our Advent Calendar we have strange moments in the Bundesliga, and we’re not talking about the football: Lots of real animals like dogs, tigers, lions, eagles, ducks, cats, ponies, rabbits and even elephants have increased the entertainment factor over the years and sometimes have even got involved on the pitch. The odd game has been interrupted because of an animal not happy with the role of a spectator, instead deciding to show the players how it’s done. There was even a painful end for one Bundesliga player’s encounter with an animal.
