Watch any good golfer and you're likely to notice how easy they make the golf swing look. Everything is smooth and unhurried, and the power they can generate is often astonishing - how do they hit the ball so hard with so little apparent effort.
As Titleist staff member Justin Parsons shares in this video, the answer can be found in how they synchronize the motion of their different body parts. Good players move their bodies in an athletic order that builds energy and releases it in an accelerating chain reaction as the hips uncoil, followed by the torso, then the arms, with the club finally slingshotting through impact.
Add Justin's step drill to your practice routine and start FEELING proper sequencing. Your ball striking will improve greatly the more you start generating effortless power instead of powerful effort.
