Former Victorian Liberal Party President Michael Kroger says Prime Minister Scott Morrison has done an “exceptional job” during the coronavirus crisis despite having little power over the states.
“Morrison has surprised everybody on the upside since he took the leadership quite frankly,” Mr Kroger told Sky News.
“He’s been a stunning success during the six months campaign leading up to the election and he’s been repeatedly ahead in the polls.”
Mr Kroger said the prime minister has been “outstanding” especially given he has not had a “lot of power” as states have been “running things”.
