Rafael's dad went to America during a military deployment and training. He was only gone for a little while, but he left a total of three times and one of those times was for several months. Rafael has autism, and we decided to make him a visual countdown chart board so he could count down the days until daddy came home. It was a military homecoming that was very much looked forward to by our entire family!
