Thyroid gland is an endocrine gland located in front of the neck. it secretes two hormones Tetra iodo thyroxine and tri iodo thyroxine. excessive release in thyroid hormone result in hyper thyroidism and deficient release in thyroid hormone leads to hypothyroidism. signs and symptoms of Thyroid problem include weight gain, puffy face, irregular periods, irregular menstruation, hair fall ,cold extremities, depression , weakness fatigue, muscle cramps, constipation . in severe cases there may be slow heart rate and increase in the bad cholesterol.
