-biceps femoris on laeral side
-semi membranosis and semi tendinosis on medial side
-Active in sufficiency 5:26
-Passive in sufficiency
-Has large moment arm for extension when hip is in 30 degree flexion or both hi[p and knee at 90 degree when both the joints are considered
-biceps femoris on laeral side cause lateral rotation
-semi membranosis and semi tendinosis on medial side cause medial rotation
