Former advisor to the Turnbull government Christian Ellis is demanding a vote to decide whether former Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull should be expelled permanently from the Liberal Party.
Executive party members in NSW have received an email calling for Mr Turnbull’s permanent expulsion.
If the push is successful it would be the first time a lifetime Liberal Party ban would have been issued.
